Kyle Busch

Birthday: May 2, 1985    Hometown: Las Vegas, Nevada

Kyle Busch raced in his first NASCAR race when he was only 16 years old in the Craftsman Truck Series. The age requirement was changed to 18 shortly after that race and he had to wait until he turned 18 to compete again in NASCAR. He immediately returned to NASCAR after his 18th birthday to race in the Nationwide Series in 2004.

He stormed the Sprint Cup Series stage in 2005 with wildly successful results. He set records as the youngest pole winner and youngest race winner and won Rookie-of-the-Year honors. Hendrick Motorsports was his home until the 2008 season

Joe Gibbs Racing signed Busch to a contract starting with the 2008 season. He drives the #18 M&M's Toyota Camry and is sure to be a force in the Chase this season.
