Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is a third generation driver from a family long known to the racing community. The son of Dale Earnhardt Sr. is blessed with racing DNA, but is also extremely charismatic and one of the most popular drivers in NASCAR. 2009 is the 10th season for Dale Jr. in Sprint Cup Series competition.

Dale Jr. joined Hendrick Motorsports in 2008 after racing with DEI for his first eight seasons. Changing teams also meant changing numbers and sponsors. He now drives the #88 sponsored by the National Guard and Amp Energy Drink.

Dale Jr. is more than a driver. He also is the owner of JR Motorsports. The Washington Redskins count Dale Jr. as a fan.
